LDAV Conference – July 2025

The inaugural LDAV conference, hosted by the Vancouver Prostate Centre (part of MIUS), successfully united over 60 data science professionals from more than 15 academic and industry groups in life sciences. Founded to foster learning and networking across sectors, the event featured engaging presentations by Ho Yin Ho and Kasra Yousefi, moderated by Huei-Chung (Rebecca) Huang, with special recognition to Ewan Gibb for his vision in making it possible. Gene and Tonic – July 2025

The team enjoyed a fun and relaxing lab outing, taking a break from research to connect outside the workplace. It was a great opportunity to bond, share laughs, and strengthen our sense of community.
